WHY DID YOU START FRAGGLES & FRIGGLES?

I think sometimes people can get intimidated by science and I wanted to find a way to make it more accessible and show people how fun it can be. I think Fraggles & Friggles does a good job of that. I also think there are so many crazy animals on this planet that most of us aren't even aware of and I have a great time designing shirts with them.
WHEN DID YOU START?
Although I had been dreaming up ideas for a while, I didn't start my business until June 2012.
WHERE DID YOU GET THE NAME FRAGGLES & FRIGGLES?
Originally the business was meant to be a combined effort between my dad and I. He was going to print his photos and I was going to make shirts. One thing that we share is that he used to watch Fraggle Rock with me when I was a little girl. My dad still sometimes calls me Fraggle or Friggle and I like the words - they're very whimsical - so I chose that as the name of the shop.
WHAT ELSE CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT FRAGGLES & FRIGGLES?
We're a family-run business. I design the shirts and make the earrings, my mom makes the bracelets, and my aunt prints the shirts. I plan to sell my dad's nature photos soon as well.
WHAT PRINTING PROCESS DO YOU USE WHEN PRINTING A TEE AND THE BRAND OF TEE YOU USE?
All of our tees are printed by hand, one at a time, using the screen filler positive method and long lasting, non toxic ink. We print exclusively on Next Level Apparel. I chose this brand because their products are unbelievably soft, they have a modern fit, and the material is high quality. I've received some great feedback on the quality of the shirts themselves.
WHAT CAN SOMEONE EXPECT WHEN ORDERING A PRODUCT FROM YOU?
You can expect excellent customer service and the personal touch that only a small business can provide. Each order is put together with great care and is presented in decorated tissue paper with a personalized note. WHAT PLANS HAVE YOU GOT FOR THE FUTURE?
I definitely plan on expanding my clothing line in the near future. It is also my goal to sell my goods in more Brick & Mortar stores and some museum shops.
